My Academic Journey
After graduating high school in 2019, I first attended the University of Akron, where I studied statistics and data science. My freshman year was cut short due to COVID-19, and I finished my first year feeling unsure of where I was and what I was studying. However, I chose to stay at Akron for another year and adjusted to the new world of distance learning and Zoom classes. After two years of not feeling challenged, I decided to leave my comfort zone and transfer to another university. At East Stroudsburg University, I found a Political Science Department of incredibly passionate professors and courses that challenged my analytical mindset. I focused my studies on international relations and found my love for comparative policy analysis. The coursework focused on many world regions, including Europe, Eastern Asia, and the Middle East. Additionally, I continued my studies in analytics at the School of Business, where I earned a certificate in data science with Statistical Analysis Software (SAS) and a badge in managing large data sets in Excel through the computer science department. My goal is to bring my love for data to the world of policy analysis.
